Gutter Cleaning Procedures
As a professional gutter cleaning contractor, our job goes far beyond scooping leaves. Every project we take on—whether it’s a single-story bungalow or a three-story home—is approached with precision, safety, and respect for your property.
We begin by inspecting your gutter system and planning safe ladder access. For single-story homes, we use a stable step ladder with rubber feet and a standoff stabilizer to avoid damaging your gutters. We wear protective gloves, goggles, and use a gutter scoop or hand tools to carefully remove debris—starting near the downspouts and working our way around the system.
We do not flush debris into your downspouts. That’s a shortcut we avoid. Instead, we bag or bucket the debris as we go, ensuring it doesn’t clog underground drainage or collect in your yard. Once the bulk is removed, we flush the gutters with water to check flow and ensure the downspouts are clear.
On multi-story homes, safety becomes even more important. We use OSHA-compliant extension ladders with stabilizers, and our technicians are trained in ladder safety. For especially tall or steep roofs, we wear harnesses tied to anchor points and may use specialized poles or vacuum systems from the ground when appropriate. No shortcuts—ever.
After cleaning, we thoroughly rinse any siding or windows that may have been splashed. We also rake, blow, or sweep up any debris that may have fallen to your lawn, flower beds, or patio. Your home will look better than when we arrived.
Regular gutter cleaning protects your home—and when done professionally, it’s safe, thorough, and worry-free.
